Why Stationery is so important for learning through play.
Whilst my 7 year old still plays with toys, often if we go to a shop and let her choose a treat she will buy a notebook. The prettier the better. She will carry it around with her on all of our adventures making notes and writing stories. I love that she does this. She is so much like me in that respect.
Harri is also partial to a bit of pretty stationery. She loves role play and spends many afternoons in the garden playing teachers. She is still just in reception and learning to read and write. These kinds of games are great to encourage, writing a register or reading a book to her class for example.
Buy Personalised Stationery from Rymans
So when Ryman got in touch with the opportunity to review some of their products, I knew it would be a really special gift for my girls. They have lots of products to choose from but I went with the Ryman Personalised Soft Cover Medium Notebook in Copper Foil.
There were four different colours to choose from and I decided on the teal for Meme and Pink for Harri. They are beautiful, even better than I expected. The quality is amazing and makes for the perfect gift.
As predicted, the girls were delighted to have a beautiful ‘grown up’ book with their names on and the colours match them perfectly. They have pretty much been carrying them around since they arrived. They are also perfect for school as there is no risk of losing their book.
I also chose Ryman Personalised M is for Mummy mug which I love, I am a sucker for a cool mug and this is perfect for my morning cuppa. It is white with N is for Natalie and I love it!!!
I always think that personalised gifts are a lovely way to say thank you to teacher at the end of the year.

Oh these are lovely, I love the colours. When I was younger I loved choosing stationary instead of toys!
I love the bright blue notebook – great choices. The mug is really lovely too!
I am a huge fan of stationery! I have to be careful though because I could easily spend a fortune on it all! This looks like some fab personalised stationery and I would have loved to receive this when I was a teacher
Oh how lovely! The stationary and mug are really fab. My kids are into their notebooks and pens too. It’s always nice to have items with your name on them!
The personalised note books are beautiful and fab bright colours. Both my girls love carrying a notebook too and writing little stories, lists and all sorts. Mich x
The notebooks are lovely! I really like that type font at the moment so these would be right up my street. Plus it would be nice to have something more girly in a very male dominated work place. If I see another black moleskin notebook…. will have to look out for these x
Ooh I love this! Huge fan of stationery here and I have passed that love on to both of my girls. I love the bright colour too, so pretty!
