4 years ago I was introduced to Feel Good Contacts. I was offered the chance to review their wide range of contact lenses. I have wore contact lenses for as long as i can remember buying them regularly. However I have never heard of Feel Good Contacts before. Are they a legitimate company? How can they fit your contact lenses without having a consultation? Do Feel Good contacts offer a good service?
I have needed glasses for as long as I can remember. I look at people who look super cool in some funky frames but, unfortunately, I’m not one of those people. The look ok on me but I never feel super confident wearing them.
The relief of trying contact lens for the first time in my mid twenties was immense. They literally changed my life. My confidence definitely increased. However, I have to admit my optician was not the best. There isn’t much care involved. He didn’t explain to me the importance of looking after my eyes and using the correct solution and changing my contact case regularly. I should have known better and looked after myself a little more. As a result I have constantly suffered with red sore eyes and infections.
Discovering Feel Good Contacts
So I was so happy to work with Feel Good Contacts to try out their contacts. They invited me try their One Day Acuvue Moist for Astigmatism, which I was quite excited about as I have always worn monthly lens. I should also mention that Feel Good Contacts is the cheapest online retailer. They have a price match guarantee so you will not find their contact lenses cheaper online.
All you need to do is upload a copy of your contact lens up to date prescription and they will do the rest.
I can suffer from dry eyes quite often making my eyes feel quite itchy. The One Day Acuve contact lens are really comfortable to wear. My eyes stay quite moist allowing me to wear them all day. I also loved the ease of wearing dailies. As many of you will know, with monthly lens you have to take them out each evening and put them in formula. This is time consuming and I also find, towards the end of the month, my contacts never feel quite as comfortable.
Pros of Feel Good Contacts
Their website is really easy to navigate. You can re-order you last set of contact lenses really easy. There is also the option of ticking a resend box, so every month a box will be sent out automatically.
Whilst you have to pay for delivery at a cost of £3.75. (you can click and collect from their Head Office in London) it is next day. There have been times I have reordered quite late in the evening and still received them the next day. Feel Good Contacts is perfect for unorganised people like me!
Cons of Feel Good Contacts
For the first time in 4 years I have had a little problem with a recent order. I emailed Feel Good Contacts to unfortunately receive no response. I have sent them a tweet, again with no response. Finally I contacted them on Instagram and a week later they have responded asking for further details.
Good customer service is really important to me and so when there is a problem I need to be able to contact them and get the problem solved.
Maybe this is a one off and as I said it is the first issue I have had in 4 years but it has annoyed me a little.
Feel Good Contacts have sent me a months worth of contacts in exchange for a honest review
