Autumn Days – Life Lately

Autumn Days – Life Lately

Oh my gosh I have not wrote a life lately post in quite some time. Life is so full on at the moment and as we approach the festive period I am pretty sure it is only going to get busier.

It has been a very wet Autumn full of sickness and bugs (mainly me!). There has also a lot of changes happening behind the scenes which whilst exciting is also very stressful. We have however had a little holiday, some lovely Autumn days out and lots of festive plans ahead of us.

Here are some of our best bits.

Disneyland Paris

After a really special trip to Disneyland Paris last year we booked to go again this half term. Similar to last year it rained everyday. However it didn’t dampen our spirits. We had the best time ever! It was lovely that Alfie was a little older so he could appreciate it a little more than last year. Lot of wonderful memories were made and I am already trying to persuade my husband to go again next year.

Autumn Days

Whilst we have had lots of wet cold days. We have also had some gorgeous blue skies and crisp cold and we have definitely made the most of these days. Everything is just so pretty at this time of year. I am always sad to see the end of Autumn – such a beautiful season.

Cross country and other achievements.

Meme is a child who wants to do everything. She is fearless. Every time we receive a list of new after school clubs, she wants to try them all. This year she started cross country and has been competing once a month. The first time she came 5th and the last one she finished 4th. She has also been selected to compete in the year football team. She amazes me and I think i need to try and be a little more Meme at times.

New Clothes

I have been working with Femme Luxe for a few months now and whilst it is not a brand I have previously heard of before. I absolutely love the items that I have received.

Pumpkin Picking.

This seems like a lifetime ago, and I can’t believe that I haven’t had a chance to write about it. We go to a lovely local place called Hawarden Estate Farm Shop where you can pick fruit and play on the park. We have such a fun time. If you are local I would definitely recommend it. The food is pretty amazing too!

Date Night

We were lucky enough to be invited to The Botanist Chester to try out their menu. Any excuse for a date night. It was so nice to drink cocktails and chat to my husband without the contact interruptions that kids bring. We definitely need to do it more often.

So it has been busy and eventful few months. Now roll on Christmas.

  1. I’m a bit jealous about your Disneyland trip! I’d love to go but my youngest is terrified of people dressed up in characters so will need to wait until he is a bit older and grows out of that fear!
A botanist branch is opening right outside my office in a couple of weeks, can’t wait to go when they open as it looks really nice.

  2. Sorry to hear you’ve been poorly. I’ve had a bug this week and its been awful! I hope you had a lovely time at Disney despite the rain x
