When I received the Creative Cafe Barista Bar I knew my 9 year old daughter would absolutely love it.
My children love role play. Playing school, Mums and Dads and Cafes is their favourite thing to do. Barista Bar is a perfect aid for cafe role play. The good thing is that they are actually using milk and creating something that they can drink which made my children feel very grown up.
What is in the box?
1 x Frothing Unit
1 x Frothing Jug
3 x Stencils
2 x Shaker Bottles
2 x Spoons
4 x Paper Cups.
1 x Chocolate flavour mix
1 x Strawberry flavour mix
How does it work?
It is super easy to work. Add a tsp of chocolate or strawberry power to the frothing jug. Fill the jug up to 88ml with milk and give the mixture a good stir.
Lower the lever on the frothing unit for 30 seconds to mix. Pour into cup and set aside. Next you need to pour some more milk into the jug to 88ml and lower the lever for another 60 seconds. Then pour the frothy milk in your cup on top of the chocolate milk mixture.
Place stencil on top of your cup and sift powder or sprinkles using the shaker bottle provided and create the perfect drink.
We had lots of fun using this. The stencils can take a few trials to perfect. However we had lots of fun trying them out. The drinks are just delicious and I love that no heat is required so your child can pretty much do this themselves.
Cleaning the Barista Bar
it is really easy to clean the Barista Bar. Ensure the power switch is turned off. The Barista Bar cannot be put into a dishwasher or microwave.
Wipe the foaming unit with warm water and washing up liquid. Remove the whisk stem by pulling down the lever and gently pulling off the whisk.
The Creative Café Barista Bar is available now from Smyths Toys Superstores and is aimed at children ages 6 and above.
