Trampoline Parks in Chester

Trampoline Parks in Chester

We have visited this trampoline park many times. In my opinion it is one of the best trampoline park in Chester. It really has the wow factor. So much so that my 11 year old recently had a birthday party in Flip Out Chester which I will detail below.

I wanted to write a blog post about our experience at this trampoline park because it can be a little overwhelming at first especially if you are visiting alone with multiple children. Also when visiting somewhere new I like to know details like, Can you see you children from the cafe? Is it suitable for toddlers? Can you eat there? What is the food like?

Flip Out Chester

If you are visiting Flip Out Chester I would recommend that you book your tickets online prior to arriving just to avoid any disappointment. The Flip Out sessions are in one hour blocks. From experience I have I found that a 1 hour session isn’t long another but a 2 hour session is more than enough. You also need to wear trampoline socks which you can buy at reception (remember to take these home with you for future visits)

Prior to your visit you need to complete a waiver form, this can be done online. You also need to watch a safety video online before your visit.

What to expect when visiting Flip Out Chester

The trampoline arena in Flip Out Chester is wow. It is huge and dark with loud music playing. There were many many trampolines and lots of different themed areas and activities. Including total wipeout, ninja warrior, adult stunt box zone, kids stunt box zone,  dodgeball, slides and a soft play.

There is an under 7’s zone for younger children which is great and big enough for them to play. Perfect for 2 and 3 years old to have a good play without the worry of older children getting in their way.

Flip Out is huge, and you cannot watch multiple children at once. If you have young children then you can follow them and watch from the side or buy a ticket and jump with them (which is so much fun!) but it is far too big for them to run around alone in my opinion. Nor can you sit in the cafe and watch them. My girls are 11 and 9 and I am happy for them to run around alone but not my 5 year old. He would get lost.

Can you get food at Flip Out Chester?

There are 2 places to go for lunch – The Cafe or The Kitchen. The cafe is really good as you can watch people on the trampolines whilst you eat or drink. If your children are a little older it is definitely the place to have a cuppa and watch your kids play from a distance. However, we chose to eat in The Kitchen, which was similar to an American Diner. There was plenty to choose from including meal deals for the little ones. The milkshakes looked fab and Meme was happy to see that they sold slush.

The Kitchen is right next to the amusement arcade so they were all kept busy whilst we waited for our food. The Diner was a lovely environment – clean and spacious and, like the whole of the Flip Out arena, just really cool. The food was pretty good too with really generous portions (none of us actually managed to finish it all).

Is it suitable for toddlers.

Yes toddlers will love it. You not so much and if you have multiple toddlers it will be hard work and stressful especially if it is busy.

They do have an under 7 area however keeping them in that section is a challenge.

Flip Out Chester also have a Stay and Play session throughout the week for 5’s and under which will be a good introduction to the trampoline park if it is your first visit. They also have themed weeks and I remember taking Alfie when he was little and the had ‘In The Night Garden’ characters which he loved.

Things you need to know about Flip Out Chester.

I guess it’s no surprise after reading the above that we absolutely loved this trampoline park. We have been to many in the past and this is the biggest and the best especially for tweens and teens. The venue itself is just so cool. The art decor was amazing – I simply wanted to walk around taking pictures of the place. The darkness, spotlights, music and plenty of giggles made the atmosphere so vibrant. What I enjoyed the most is that it is pretty much suitable for all ages, including adults! You can go as a family and not have to worry about someone being too old or too young.

However, this trampoline park is not somewhere you can go and have a chat with a friends whilst your children can go and play. It is huge and very loud. It is also really big so I spent a lot of time walking around just checking where they were.

If you are looking for something different to entertain the kids, in the school holidays or anytime really, check out FlipOut Chester – the kids will love it.

  1. This looks so cool! We have a trampoline park which has opened in Aberdeen this summer and I can’t wait to go when Piglet is a little older. I’m not sure what I would make of those climbing walls though – I’m such a wimp!

  2. What an amazing day out. My girls are desperate to go to one of these trampoline parks, they look so fun. The clip and climb wall is like nothing I’ve ever seen before and looks really good too. How lucky you all were. Mich x
