Some good bits and bad moments this week – I guess like most. Harri is still struggling with illness – since starting pre school in September it seems to be one week well and then a week of being poorly which is so frustrating. I also had to cancel a much needed hair appointment – but I know that in the grand scheme of things it is not important.
There of course some happy bits from the week:
- I had my 38 week midwife appointment and heard my baby’s heartbeat. I am hoping that this will be my last one before meeting my baby – I am so excited!
- My custom made stickers that I ordered from Sticker App have arrived and I am delighted with them – the perfect finish to my Christmas presents.
- Our Christmas tree and decorations are up – even though Harri was a little under the weather we had a lovely evening decorating our tree.
- We made our annual visit to Father Christmas at our favourite place Ness Gardens and had a lovely afternoon.
So lots of good points from the weeks and we are all so excited for Christmas! This week we are going to collect our new family car and we have Harri’s first nativity play!! My baby is all grown up!

Aww I’m so glad all was well at your scan, not long to go now until you meet your beautiful baby. It sounds like you’ve had a lovely, festive week. I hope Harri is better soon.

Wonderful things to be happy about! I think we spent the first four years of all three of my boys school years with someone sick each and every week– at least it felt that way!
I can sympathise with all the illness. Ever since my son started pre-school it seems like one of us is always ill and he’s 7 now! Hope everyone feels better soon. Just took a look at your stickers and they look great, think I may have to design some for the kids this year as my son is old enough to recognise my handwriting now and don’t want to put any doubts in his mind, I was wondering what to do about it but think you’ve just solved my problem x
