Bodelwyddan Castle

Bodelwyddan Castle

Although we spend most of our weekends out and about we have found ourselves falling into a routine of going the same places so we have decided to try and make a bit more effort to step out of our comfort zone and venture out to new places.

On Sunday we decided to visit Bodelwyddan Castle, and whilst we have been there before it was a while ago and it was something a little different. The weather was glorious and it was nice to see the girls without woolly tights and big winter coats on. There is so much to do and it is perfect for little ones. They have big outdoor games of chess and draughts, which could keep our girls entertained for hours. There is a big outdoor park and a maze to explore. We also popped into the castle where they have old fashioned games for children to play with. With so much to do we didn’t have time to cover everything and so we have promised the girls we will go back in a couple of weeks for some more adventures.

  1. looks like a lovely day, we are headed towards winter here, so wooly tights are on there way! Great photos! #pointshoot

  2. What a fab day out for you all, it definitely looks like they have loads of activities for the girls to take part in. It’s great that the girls enjoyed Bodelwyddan Castle and want to get back there again to explore more of the grounds. It’s great you’re investigating new places to go and finding more local activities to enjoy. Thanks for linking up with me on #CountryKids.
