My friend sent me this picture last week and it has to be one of my favourite captures. We don’t have many pictures of us as a family, usually either me or my husband is taking it. This one was taken last month at my friends wedding in Port Meirion. I usually love a wedding but, with being 7 months pregnant, I guess I wasn’t feeling all that excited for it. It was also a bit of stress driving the 90 minutes to get there in the morning, I was wearing the highest heels, which, when pregnant and trying to walk on cobbles, is not the best of ideas and I generally felt a little apprehensive by the day.
However, we had the most wonderful time and this picture I think portrays that. It is also even more significant due to the fact it is the last time we will enjoy an adventure as a family of four. It makes me feel so emotional – the scenery, the naturalness of it, the memory of our trip and also knowing the next family picture will hopefully include our beautiful new baby.
Oh wow, this is beautiful! Definitely one for a frame I think. Stunning location for a wedding too xx
Beautiful family photo in such a quirky location #MySundayPhoto
A very nice memory to treasure, and nice that you made the effort to go despite the drive and your condition. #MySundayPhoto
A beautiful family photo, it looks so pretty
Thank you for linking up
What a wonderful photo! I think it needs a frame 😀 x
That’s a beautiful photo and such a lovely moment to capture before the new baby comes along. Definitely one for the wall x
Oh what a lovely photo of you all. You look fabulous! We were saying the other day that we need to get some photos of us all as a family, it’s so difficult when one of you always has to take the photo isn’t it?

It is a lovely family photo, sounds like a great wedding day even pregnant.
Aw such a lovely capture – I love natural shots. And as you say, so nice to get one of the four of you before your new addition!
That is a lovely family portrait!
oh I just adore this photograph, natural moment are always the best ones to capture on film. I love that your baby is in this photo, yet still unknown what this little one will look like, or what he/she will be like, so exciting! #mg
What a beautiful photo. I love it when someone captures a moment like this. X
