What Does The UK Really Have To Offer?

There are many different countries that rank in a sort of pecking order when thinking about travelling. For a lot of you, you’ll be thinking about all of the Mediterranean countries, Australia, Thailand… all of those really amazing places that just seem to be built for tourists. But at the bottom of the pecking order will be the UK. Just because it has the stigma of being a pretty wet and dull country, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have plenty to offer that you just won’t find in other countries. Plus, you really can’t complain about the weather at the minute, it’s ever better than some of the more popular countries! So, if you haven’t considered the UK before because you’re just not sure what it has to offer, then let us enlighten you!

Serene Locations

This is one of the main things that the UK is so good for. It doesn’t matter what part of it you go to, you’re not going to be far from a nice serene location. If we’re going to name two, we would have to talk about Devon. It’s a lovely little seaside county, known for its lovely beaches, cute towns, and relaxing atmosphere. Whatever you’re looking for, the chances are high that Devon will have it for you. Plus, you’ll be spoilt for choice in terms of the places that you’ll be able to stop. You can get touring caravan parks in Devon that won’t set you back too much, or you can stop in one of the local hotels. It all depends on how much you want to spend, and what type of experience you want to have. Another serene location has to be the Lake District. It’s one of the most famous areas on the UK,

with lakes and mountains stretching for miles. If you’re looking for the perfect postcard and the most relaxing time, then this is the place for you. You will however, find yourself spending a lot more on accomodation than you would elsewhere.

Plenty Of Excitement

Theme parks, water parks, escape rooms, mazes… the UK has it all. Although it might not rival the thrills that you would find at the theme parks in Florida, you can still have just as much fun in the UK. If you’re looking for thrills, we highly recommend that you try zip lining, skydiving, indoor skydiving, or a track day. A track day is super fun if you love cars as well! If you find your excitement through visiting places such as art galleries or museums, then places such as London have some of the best in the world.

World Class Dining

Again, London is the place to go if you want some world class dining. 5* michelin starred restaurants line the streets, but boy do you pay the price. Some places charge £300 plus just for a main course. Take it down a notch however, and you’ve got Jamie Oliver’s restaurant, as well as many other famous names for you to try.

So, hopefully you will see that the UK has far more to offer than you would have thought, we hope you give it a go!
