New Books, Centre Parcs and February #Littleloves

Well it has been a mixed bag this week – we had the best weekend at Centre Parcs, which inspired a little post on how we love our mini adventures. Since we came home it has been a little downhill with sickness and tiredness and the thought of upcoming events.

However, it is almost the start of a new month, half term is in sight and well, I am feeling hopeful.

Here are my #Littleloves

Read

I finished reading Disclosure and I really enjoyed it – I really wasn’t expecting the ending. Not sure what to read next. Hayley wrote a post on some good books so I might try some of her suggestions.

Watched

I have watched my Meme on her bike, we spent the weekend at Centre Parcs and last year the whole family got bikes and the kids were in trailers. Meme is really good on her bike but we were a little worried she wouldn’t be able to keep up as Centre Parcs can be a bit hilly. Keep up?  That girl was leading the pack. She was amazing!

I have also watched Harri with her cousin G, oh how they love each other, best friends one minute and not talking the next. I can imagine it always being this way.

Heard

Peace and quiet, we allow the girls to watch something on their tablet if we are going on a long journey and so the car is usually full of sounds from Frozen, Rapunzel or, even worse, both the whole way. This time we gave them headphones – genius! It was a nice relaxing journey, me and hubbie even got to have a little chatter.

Wore

I never fit in when I take the girls swimming, all the other Mums have nice sensible black swimming costumes on and I am there in my hot pink bikini. So I thought for Centre Parcs I am going to get something a little more covered up and sensible. I was going to pop to Next but my Sister found one in Primark for me, oh my gosh it was so slinky and low cut, I have been searching the Internet for a picture but can’t find one. I felt like a Kardashian without the boobs or the bum obviously, but I figured it was better than my hot pink bikini!

Made

Hmm struggling with this one, I have made a plan to see my friend today, she is going to do my nails and I am beyond excited, yes really, getting my nails done really excites me at the moment!!!

And Lastly

My Harri has been poorly this week so the last couple of days have been spent together in bed snuggling each other. I just love that girl.

Have a lovely weekend

xxxx

  1. Sounds like you had a fantastic time at Centre Parcs! Go Mimi on her bike, what a clever girl :). Your swimming costume story reminds me I must go buy one soon for our holiday.. dreading it haha xx

  2. You cannot beat a weekend at Center Parcs in January can you. We were at Whinfell 2 weeks ago. Looks like you all had fun and well done to your little girl on the bike riding. And yes headphones are a life saver on car journeys. The peace and quiet from the kids is amazing lol. Have a good week #littleloves

  3. A weekend away sound perfect-we are off to Bluestone in May with Family and can’t wait! Meme looks so proud on her bike! I’ll have to take a look at Hayleys book list as after #Girlboss I haven’t really got into anything yet. Hope Harri is feeling a little better now and bring on february! x
