I posted this picture on Instagram yesterday and wasn’t planning to use it for my Sunday photo but this weekend it seems quite fitting.
January is usually a sick month for me and my family. Since we had the girls every January is filled with coughs, colds, sickness, chest infections, chicken pox etc. Don’t get me wrong, nothing major in the grand scheme of things but not the best of months for us.
So on Friday 1st when I woke up it was no surprise that I was full of cold. It makes sense really, December is such a busy exciting month full of alcohol and late nights that by the time the new month starts we are simply exhausted.
I crave fruit when I am like this and the first thing I wanted to do yesterday was to go to our local farm shop and stock up. Big bright oranges full of vitamin c and juicy apples full of goodness. I love this picture full of colour and hopefully the just medicine we all need.
So much of healthy goodness!
