Things I’m loving lately – March

Another month has almost gone, whilst there has still been sickness it has been nice to see some sunshine! Spring is here and it feels just lovely.

Here is what I have been loving in March.

Beauty

Ooh I have had a lovely treat this month, me and my friend booked ourselves into a spa for the day. I was so excited, I love going to a spa but very rarely ever go. It just seems so extravagant however I felt I really needed and deserved a little time out. I treated myself to an Elemis facial which was amazing and my skin felt so fresh. The beautician recommended I wear a night cream so I have ordered the Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced Night Cream.

Fashion

We had a little road trip to Wales and it was so cold, we were all wrapped up warm. I do love me a cold beach though

The last couple of weeks have seen the weather get a little warmer and it has been nice to get out of my big winter coat. I have been wearing my new leather jacket which my lovely husband bought me for Christmas.

I also treated myself to some shirts, they were on sale from Gap and they make a nice change from wearing a Tshirt with jeans all the time.

 

We went to watch Disney on Ice and my girls wore their new costumes from Sainsburys.

 

Home

We bought a coffee table lately for our living room, which I love, but found the girls starting to leave toys on the bottom shelf, which was driving me mad. So I have started to put all my fashion and cookbooks under there, which I think looks really nice (and there is no room left for little ponies!)

 

I also got the most beautiful Mother’s days flowers of my girls, tulips my favourite.

Food

We have eaten out quite a bit this month, although I am always so eager to eat I always forget to take photographs. When we stayed in Llandudno we ate in the most beautiful pub called The Cottage Loaf, I would highly recommend it.

I have been back making my soups, my favourite has to be Butternut Squash with chilli, it is amazing.

 

And of course it’s been Easter so we have had lots of chocolate, which will no doubt keep us going till Christmas!

 

And that’s me really for March. It has been a pretty nice month.
