Six Of The Best Clubs In Amsterdam

If you are planning the perfect stag weekend abroad then you should definitely consider Amsterdam. The city has so much to offer. There are plenty of fantastic nightclubs, lots of culture, a delightful ambience and of course the famous cafes and the Red Light District.

Not only is there a lot to do in Amsterdam, but the city offers you a cheap way of going abroad. It doesn’t take long to get to Holland from the UK and it doesn’t cost you a lot either. You can also travel in different ways, like booking a river cruise through Bolsover Cruise Club. What’s not to love? If you are planning on visiting Amsterdam in the near future then you should certainly take a trip to at least one of the following fantastic nightclubs.

Paradiso

Paradiso is well known for being a great venue for those who want to witness famous acts during their visit. Not only is the music impressive but the venue itself is grand and boasts fantastic personality. Unusual yet undeniably brilliant at the same time.

Jimmy Woo

This will definitely bring the swankiness to your stag party. It has a real glamorous and cosmopolitan feel to it. If you are up on your Dutch celebrities then you may bump into one or two here. The music is a fantastically electric mix of house, Baltimore club and hip-hop.

Supperclub

This club is known on a global scale, which should give you an idea of just how fun and electric it is. The atmosphere is sophisticated but definitely not in the snobby sense. Rather, you will be somewhere which offers freedom in abundance, something which tends to draw in an arty and creative crowd. Everyone is simply happy and loving life. You won’t deal with the pretensions here. Amsterdam’s flourishing talent on the DJ front tend to play here.

Studio 80

If you want to take a tip back to the 80’s then Studio 80 is the club for you. The dimly lit interior and the innovative edge make this one of the most popular spots in the city for those who like to consider themselves hip. The atmosphere here is undeniable and when the minimal techno starts to play everything gets taken to a whole new level.

Bitterzoet

This is one of the most unique clubs in Amsterdam because it offers an urban and soulful edge. This is unusual because the city tends to be filled with hard-core electro clubs. So, if you are looking for something a bit mellower then Bitterzoet is a good choice. One of the best things about this club is the fact that it has a strictly vinyl-only policy – giving it a real old school quality

Sugar Factor

Last but not least, this list would not be complete without mentioning Sugar Factory. The venue used to be a theatre and there is a real performance element to the club thanks to the large stage which is often filled with dancers. Sugar Factory also attracts a mix of the best DJs and musicians too – with several often playing on the one evening. Many deem Sugar Factor to be one of a kind, it is definitely something you should experience when in the city!
