We have been watching a lot of Stick Man over Christmas, such a wonderful story. We have lots of Julia Donaldson books, Zog, The Gruffalo, The Snail and the Whale but we don’t have Stick Man, in fact I don’t recall ever reading it before. After watching it and since reading it, I absolutely adore it as do my girls.
On Saturday, with a break from the rain we visited a forest we had never been to before – Wepre Park. The first thing the girls spotted was a big tree, The Family Tree they shouted – Stick Man lives here! We then saw a stream and the girls were delighted looking to see if they could find and rescue Stick Man. Meme also spotted a sign instructing dogs to be kept on leads, she was convinced this was definitely were he lived! A fun afternoon all in all, this picture of Harri is my favourite, she has such wonder in her eyes believing we may actually find this magical character.
This is lovely! We’ve loved watching Stick Man too… maybe we’ll go hunting for Stick Man’s tree in the woods too!
Definitely my girls loved it! Thanks for your comment x

Thank you lovely x
She looks completely absorbed in it all. We also go to Wepre Woods, but we go to find the Gruffalo. Strangely enough he is always off having his tea which is why we can’t find him! Co-incidentally the photo that I have linked up this week to #PointShoot is of one of our visits there. I will have to get the Stick Man book and try and bring that to life myself next time we go there. Great photo #PointShoot
Gorgeous photo she has wonder in her eyes. We have that hat too. Love it. #pointshoot
