Easter Activities in Liverpool 2022

It almost Easter again and there are generally lots of fun Easter activities in Liverpool and Merseyside for your children to enjoy. I have done a little round up of what is going on in the city so you can plan some fun days out this Easter.

Easter Activities in Liverpool

Easter Egg Hun at Speke Hall

There is an Easter egg hunt in one of our favourite National Trust Speke Hall in Liverpool. Running from 11 -18 April 2022. Pick up your activity pack to find the trail map filled with fun activities you’re going to follow. Once you have finished the trail (there is no time limit!) collect your Easter Egg at the end. The trail packs cost £3 and of course you have to pay the normal admission. There is no need to book just turn up.

There is lots to do at Speke Hall. They have a woodland park, a park, a maze and lots of space to run around. Take a picnic and spend the whole day there.

Easter Wonderland at Otterspool.

One of our favourite places to visit in Liverpool is Otterspool Adventure. They always have lots of fun activities to do and my children love it. This year they have a Easter Wonderland which includes a ‘Adventures of Alice’ show, a Spring farm including bunnies chicks and ducks and of course access to all the other wonderful things in Otterspool Adventure. This includes a park, a maze, go cards, bouncy pillows and crazy golf. You can also pay an additional £3 per child to visit the Easter Bunny and receive an Easter egg.

It costs £17 per child (not including a visit to the Easter Bunny) and £8.50 per adult . Personally I think this is a little pricey. For us to go as a family of 5 it would cost £68 + £9 to visit the Easter Bunny. I think maybe it would be less annoying if Otterspool Adventure had included the Easter Bunny and Easter Egg in the ticket price or maybe offered a family ticket to make it a little more accessible for more people to visit.

That said you can stay all day. We went to the Christmas activity in Otterspool Adventure and it was wonderful and well worth the money. My children had a great time. However it should be noted that you can’t take your own food into Otterspool Adventure so this is another expense that you would need to consider.

Liverpool Indoor Funfair Easter

A children’s favourite the Indoor Funfair Easter is back in Liverpool this Easter. Family favourite rides such as the Waltzer, Sizzler Twist, Fun House, Super Bob will be in attendance alongside the Tagada, Miami and numerous Children’s Rides. My kids love a funfair so this would be a real treat.

Easter Arts and Crafts at Liverpool Cathedral

Liverpool Cathedral have some Easter arts and crafts planned for children this year. Each family friendly session is free and lasts up to 45 minutes. All sessions must be pre-booked and each person attending is required to have a ticket. Sessions start at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 2:00pm.

Hoppy Easter Party with Jumping Jacks

This Hoppy Easter Party with Jumping Jacks is being hosted at St Luke’s Bombed Out Church. It includes Easter themed games, dancing, competitions with certificatesballoon modelling an even an appearance from Peter Rabbit and Teddy Bear, who love to pose for pics.

There’ll also be a glitter and tattoo bar for all the kids to get stuck into plus a lunch pack is included with each child ticket.

Tickets cost £13.50 per child (including £1.64 fee) and £5 per adult (plus 0.98 fee). You can also purchase a Family ticket (2 adults & 2 children) which costs £34 (plus £3.34 fee). Again quite an expensive event for just 2 hours however there is a lot going on and lunch is included. There is also a bar onsite serving hot, cold and alcoholic refreshments along with hot food available.

This event is running on Friday April 15th 11.30 -13.30.

There seems to be a lot of fun family friendly Easter activities in Liverpool this year. If there is nothing that takes your fancy why not buy a few Easter eggs, head down to your local park and have your own Easter egg hunt!
