Girls Back to School Shoes.
When it comes to buying some new girls school shoes for the new school year. We try not to think about it too much. However, even when they finish in July it never seems that far away. The first couple of years I always left the buying of the new shoes until the week before September. This was a disaster! After a few scares and stressed out afternoons spent in busy town centres. I now always try to shop online as early as possible
Spoilt for choice
I discovered Jake Shoes this year who invited me to choose a pair of shoes for one of my girls. It was a website that I had never heard of before. My girls love choosing new shoes for school and I wasn’t sure what footwear would be available on Jake Shoes.
They have so many girls school shoes, all amazing brands to choose from including our favourite Lelli Kelly. We have always be a huge fan of the Lelli Kelly school shoes having had their leather school shoes ever since Meme started school. After being a school Mum for over 6 years I have to say that I would never choose another brand for school shoes.
Some people think that Lelli Kelly School shoes are expensive. However in my experience they have always lasted the whole of the school year, sometimes even longer. I find that some friends buy cheaper school shoes and have to change them a couple of times through out the year.
The Website
There were a few shoes and different brands that Meme liked so we chose a few to add to our basket so we could narrow down the choice. I was pleasantly surprised that every shoe we chose was available in Meme’s size. The website is easy to navigate you can search shoes by brand, colour, type and size making it really easy to compare different options. There was also quite a few school shoes available in the sale section so definitely worth checking out.
After narrowing it down between some Kickers shoes and Lelli Kelly we decided to go with our usuals. She chose the Meryl Brogues in patent leather (I always buy patent leather school shoes, they scratch so much less than normal leather). They are a little clumpier that the usual Lelli Kelly ones we choose. A little bit more grown up because you know she is almost 9!!
I would definitely recommend Jake Shoes. I will be buying Harri’s from there also. I actually can’t see any reason to buy their school shoes from anywhere else – it was just so easy! I now have a very excited little girl all ready to wear her new shoes for school (They also do a price match promise!)
Jakes Shoes sent us a pair of girls school shoes free of charge in exchange for some exposure. All thoughts are my own.
