Strawberry picking in the North West.

Strawberry picking in the North West.

Strawberry picking has become a little family tradition .All three of my little ones love strawberries, so of course each year they love to grab a basket and pick their own.

We originally went a few weeks ago – but moments after arriving heavy rainfall started. As you can imagine it was a little bit of a nightmare. Shouting, crying and no time to pick strawberries!! We ended up back home wet and empty handed.

Yesterday with its bright blue skies and hot sunshine we decided to try again and stock up on our favourite fruit. Strawberry picking is lots of fun. The strawberries looked and tasted amazing! In fact they have almost all been eaten and we might have to pop back again today.

Have you been strawberry picking yet?

  1. I have been trying to go all summer and just not made it. It is such a lovely summer activity and in the sunshine after the rain they will be delicious. It sounds like this was the visit you were hoping for the first time, I’m glad you had your successful visit and some beautiful photos to remember it.

Thank you for sharing with me on #CountryKids
