Sunshine and Love – Moments from our weekends.

What a special weekend it was. There was a Royal Wedding which of course we had to watch. Harriet even wore her tiara for the special occasion. As we were watching the wedding unfold  I was telling my little ladies how this was such an important moment in history and whilst they had no idea what I was wittering on about I do hope that they remember the three of us sitting on the couch with tears in our eyes (that was possibly just me) watching the Prince marrying his Princess like a real fairy tale, commenting on how beautiful her dress was and questioning why they weren’t invited (they were seriously a little bit miffed by the rejection!).

Of course we spent the rest of the weekend playing in this glorious sunshine. How amazing has it been. We went for walks and played in parks. You know you’re a fully fledged parent when it’s not even 10am on a Sunday and you are pushing your little ones on the swings at the park. We have definitely made the most of our weekend.

  1. I hope they will remember watching the Wedding with you and just as important fun summer days in the park. What gorgeous photos, it really was such a lovely weekend, and carried on into this week. Parks and gardens across the country as looking their very best. You were in good company at 10 am on Sunday, we were already on the return leg of a farm run with all the children here by then, sunny summer days are not for lying in!

Thank you for sharing with me on #CountryKids

  2. The sunshine has been fantastic! I loved watching the Royal Wedding it was so beautiful. I was telling my kids the same thing about it being historical moment – don’t think my son was that bothered – he just said “ewww gross!” haha. sarah #CountryKids
