The End of the Land

The End of the Land

Last week we went on our second adventure of the year (2 adventures in 2 months is good going!) We booked a little week away in Cornwall for the half term.  It took over 5 hours to get there in a very very busy car, but it was well worth the journey, Cornwall is such a beautiful part of the country and a place we have never visited before.

My husband wanted to visit Lands End – so on Tuesday we packed some lunch and drove the hour it took us to get there. Truthfully we weren’t expecting much – I guess it is one of those places it is good to say you have been, however it ending up being one of favourite days.

There was a few attractions that you could do including a 4D cinema and The Shaun the Sheep Experience. There is a great park which my girls loved and although it was so windy and cold they barely noticed, there is a lovely cafe to warm up in on cold days but for us the best part of Lands End was the view, oh the view is spectacular. We were lucky that the skies were blue and sun was shining – and it made for a really lovely day.

Lands End is now ticked off so where is next….John O Groats?

  1. I love cornwall too and I am so glad you got to have such a lovely little adventure together! Sounds lush! Whilst I have been there a few times, I haven’t been to the end haha you’re right though, certainly a must see! Glad it was a lovely day x #OrdinaryMoments

  2. Land’s End is beautiful and the views are stunning. We did Land’s End to John O’Groats by train and bus with our girls a couple of years ago and it was so much fun. John O’Groats has fewer attractions than Land’s End and is much less touristy. There is a cafe and a gift shop but not a lot else. It does have beautiful views across to Orkney though. You can also have your photo taken standing next to the sign without having to pay for it! #countrykids

  3. We loved Cornwall too – and the blue sky was amazing! But, we didn’t make it to Lands End this time. Looks like you had the perfect trip x

  4. Ive been to cornwall many times for holidays but have never gone as far as Lands End. #pointshoot
