I have never been a smoker, it has never really appealed to me and I guess it helped that none of my friends smoked as I definitely think peer pressure is a huge factor when you’re younger. I don’t need to preach about the bad affects of smoking as we all know that it is detrimental to your health, but I don’t need to be a smoker to know how hard an addiction can be and how hard it can be to give something up.
You may already know that the NHS have this amazing initiative to help stop smoking called Stoptober – they offer so much support and advice. Statistics show that if you manage to stop smoking for 28 days then you are 5 times more likely to quit smoking completely. How amazing is that and hopefully the perfect way to motivate you to take on the challenge of Stoptober.
A popular method which is known to help with quitting smoking are e-cigs. They seem to be everywhere at the moment and, along with plenty of support, can really help kick the habit. Aquavape have recently conducted an infographic surrounding e-cigs including all kinds of interesting facts.
