What I’ve been loving in March

What I’ve been loving in March

March has been a bit of a mixed bag. Every year we tend to have a sick month. It usually falls in January or February but this year it was March. We have all been under the weather but I think I was actually the worst this year. I’m hoping for a healthy month in April please.

Here is what I have been loving this month.

Dungarees

I have been wearing my dungarees a lot. I love them – they are just so comfortable. Now I am wearing mine,  Harri wants to wear hers too. Twinning! I have promised to buy some for Meme and Harri has suggested buying some for Daddy. Although I’m not sure he will be up for that!

Mother’s Day

My first one as a Mummy of 3 and my first one to my lovely boy. I had the best day I was so spoilt my little family. Meme was so looking forward to it this year and has been busy making plans for weeks. I got loads of homemade treats and cards and flowers…the list goes on. I’m feeling very blessed.

Blog Hop

I took part in a little blog hop with some of my favourite bloggers Life is Knutts, Dear Bear and Beany, Hot Pink Wellingtons, Double the Monkey Business and Five Little Doves. I wrote a blog post a while back about finding your tribe, well these lovely ladies are my little support system – they are fab!

Sunny Days

March brought us some sunshine, some warm sunshine. It is so nice to take off my big boots and coat for a change. It gave us all a real taste for summer and I can’t wait!!

Date Night

Me and my lovely Man managed to get out for a meal and some drinks which was great. I was so nervous leaving Alfie as it was our first night apart but after a few busy and stressful months me and my husband definitely needed some time together. Naturally after a glass of wine I was tipsy and  we were home exhausted by half ten but it was a perfect night.

Getting Organised

I have been feeling really overwhelmed lately so in a bid to overcome this feeling I have been getting organised. I am making lists and ticking things off and my head is finally starting to feel a little clearer. After a year of trying to book the girls into swimming lessons I finally done it and they had their first lesson last weekend which they both loved! I booked Meme into a ballet exam, I got some thank you cards printed. I finally feel a little bit on top of things. Fingers crossed I keep it up.

A Proud Mummy

With parents evenings, Meme’s rainbow promise and Harri starting swimming lessons for the first time without any fuss I have been one proud Mamma this month. My girls are growing so fast and they are such good girls and always try their best – I couldn’t ask for more.

So March was definitely a month of highs and lows. I am hoping April brings lots more sunshine, adventures and chocolate of course!

How did March treat you?

  1. We always have a sickness month and it tends to be February for us!! I hope you are all on the mend. I’m so lucky to have you and the other girls in my life, I would be lost without you all. I’m loving the twinning! X #LikedandLoved

  2. Sorry to read that you experienced sickness during the month. May April be better health wise. You’ve got a lovely team of support bloggers there. #LikedandLoved

  3. Ah sounds a lovely month, other than the illness. I have just started to do a monthly wish list post so I’m looking forward to doing a round-up at the end of April and reflecting on the month. It looks a great way to record those memories xx #SharingtheBlogLove
