Introducing Alfie Hugh

On Thursday 29th December 2016 our beautiful baby made his appearance into the world.

Although he kept us waiting for ten days, when he was ready to come out he didn’t mess around. My first contraction started at 3.45am and he was born at exactly 6.01am weighing 7lb 7.

I actually can’t quite believe he is here. I also cant quite believe I have a baby boy – I just never imagined I would have a boy but I honestly couldn’t be happier. I just cant stop looking at him, he is just so perfect.

His first week with us has been blissful. Of course we are not getting much sleep, I am still recovering from the labour and naturally my hormones are all over the place (I had a little cry over a box of Celebrations today). However, I am so happy that he is here, safe and sound in my arms and we can begin our journey as aΒ family of 5.

My heart is just so full of love, I want to cherish every single moment.

Welcome to the world my lovely Alfie Hugh.
