What I have been loving this August

What I have been loving this August

Can you believe summer is almost finished! Its been a busy month but in a good way. Here is what I’ve been loving in August:

1 – Holidays – we have the whole month with no routine and it has been bliss!! We have even managed a few little sleep ins with 9am being a bit of a record one morning! Oh I am not ready for it to end.

2 – Maternity Clothes – ย With my bump ever expanding I was in desperate need of some new clothes and I managed to get a few bargains that will hopefully see me through the next few months.

Nothing exciting - but nice and comfortable.

3 – A trip to Yorkshire – I have written many posts about our little UK break so I wont go on too much but we did have a lovely week together.

4 – National Trust – we have spend many a day making good use of our National Trust memberships, we have found some favourites that we will definitely be returning to.

5 – We had our 20 week scan – we took our girls with us which was lovely. Half way through how exciting!

6 – Meme’s birthday party is all booked for next month! It is not like me to be so organised.

7 – Sunshine – well we have not had a full month of sunny weather but we have had a few days so we cant complain. Can we?

8 – We worked with a couple of lovely brands this month. I am quite particular about reviews as my time is limited so I want to be spending the majority of ย my time wring my own blog posts not reviews. However both these products caught my eye and I was delighted with the results.

9 – Play dates – it has been a summer of play dates meeting old and new friends. We have also had the opportunity to see some of Meme’s school friends which has been lovely.

10 – We have an exciting month ahead. September is going to be a busy one. We have new routines, a little trip away and a very special birthday party!

How did August treat you?

  1. Oh I’m not ready for it to end either. We’ve loved the lie ins so much and lack of routine has really relaxed us (mostly!!). I think next week is going to come as a bit of a shock!

  2. 9am lie in – what a treat! Hasn’t August been just lovely? The best summer in ages weather wise, which has allowed us to do all those summer things. We’ve been making great use of our NT membership too – I can’t stop going on about it! Looking forward to reading about all your September fun too! #bloggerclubuk

  3. I have loved August, but the kids have gotten hyper this week so definitely feel it’s time to go back to school. It’s so exciting reaching that 20week point, congratulations! #sharewithme
