Look at this girl. My Meme is growing up so fast. On Sunday I made plans for me and my girls to meet up with our family for a Sister Day. Now let me explain, Meme is a Mummy’s girl through and through she always has been, she always wants to be with me and my poor husband doesn’t get a look in.
To my surprise on Sunday morning Meme came up to me and said ‘Mummy I want to spend some time with Daddy today on my bike’. So that is exactly what she did. We arranged to meet in the afternoon so she could still spend some time with my family and off she and Daddy went on their bikes. I must admit I do get a little nervous when she is on her bike, I want to wrap her up in cotton wool and keep her by my side all the time, I worry she will fall and hurt herself. I am worried she will lose her balance and fall into a road – I could go on and if I am being truthful I couldn’t fully relax until later when she returned to me. However, I know she loves her bike and I love that she has some one on one time with her Daddy both doing something they enjoy. I have to put aside my worries and let her go, let her grow. My big girl.
They ended up riding for seven miles. Seven miles! She is amazing!
I am exactly the same,I find bike riding stressful as I worry too much, but Dad donate worry at all so they love going out just them and Dad x

How lovely that Meme wanted to spend time with her Dad and how brave you were to let her go on the roads! I would have exactly the same as you, but your little girl did really well cycling for seven miles and every time she goes out on the road with her Dad she’s building up confidence.
