After spending a few days at home getting adapting to life with our new baby we decided to venture out and about so we could get some fresh air and let the girls try out their new Christmas bikes and scooters. We went to a local place called New Brighton which has got a lovely long prom which is perfect for bike riding.
Harri was fab on her new princess bike and we will be taking the stabilisers off soon to see how steady she is. Meme was whizzing around on her new Micro scooter. Whilst Alfie was snug in his pram. It was so strange looking at all my children – there just seems to be a big tribe of us now.
It was a lovely sunny day but bitterly cold and I was still recovering from my labour so we couldn’t walk for too long. We spent the majority of our day eating at a local cafe (which was a bit of a disaster – but that’s another story!) but it was nice to get some fresh air and introduce Alfie to one of our favourite places.

I award a gold star for getting out! I remember those days so well, it can take you as long to get everyone ready as it does to enjoy being out! I’m sure I never managed photos too though, I have such a lack of pictures of my children at this age, keep making the effort, getting out there and enjoying them being young. These photos will be wonderful memories.
