Happy List #10

Happy List #10

This week has been much much better than last week I am please to report – I generally feel a lot brighter which is good. Here is what has made me happy this week:

  • I had such an amazing weekend with my family – after a tough week, a change of scenery done me the world of good.
  • I know this is contradicting what I said before a little but I am glad we are done with all the adventures and trips away and I can settle down and hibernate (hopefully) in anticipation for our little arrival in December.
  • Me and Harri met with a good friend and her lovely children and went pumpkin picking. I always feel guilty doing fun things without Meme and I know she would of really enjoyed it but it is nice that I have a little time with my gorgeous Harri.
  • Me and my bestie met for a childfree breakfast and we had a good catch up – we talked freely without having to feed or entertain children and it was just bliss!
  • I mentioned a few weeks back that my girls had a little photo shoot – well this week I got the pictures back and they are stunning. I am so happy with them and will no doubt be spamming everyone with pictures soon.

So a nice lazy weekend planned – well we have got the usual kids party but I cant wait to have a little down time with my family!

Tell me about your week?

  1. I can’t believe your new bundle of joy will be here in December, not long to wait. I feel the same when Holly and I go places without Alice. I feel guilty when she asks me what we have done today, but she never complains that she wasn’t there. I will look out for the photo shoot photos, spam away!! x #HappyDays

  2. So glad you all had a wonderful time away! And I can’t wait to see your photo shoot photos – I bet they’re stunning. I can’t believe you have so little time left now before your littlest one arrives (although I’m sure it still seems like ages to you!) So exciting – enjoy the hibernating 🙂 #happydays

  3. I always feel guilty doing things with one child and not the other too but then I think that I did all these things with the oldest before youngest arrived so it’s actually only fair. A child free breakfast sounds great. Hope you have a lovely relaxing weekend x

  4. I had a busy Saturday but today has been super lazy and so lovely. Can’t believe how close we are to December and hearing your exciting announcement xx

  5. Glad you had a great week! I love those lazy weekends with my family. The older I get the more I appreciate them. #MarvMondays

  6. Aaah, a child free catch up with a friend-it sounds wonderful!! Hibernating ready for your new arrival also sounds like a good idea, and also very exciting!! The photo shoot also sounds brilliant, we’ve never done anything like that, and I really should, before the children get too big! It’s lovely to share your positives, they’ve made for a happy read!
