Ikea, The Intern and Easter Clothes #littleloves

A nice short week for us after a lovely bank holiday weekend. It is also the last day that Meme is in school whoop whop! So excited to have my girls reunited next week and also 2 weeks off from the school run is always nice.

Here are my #littleloves for this week.

Read

I have been reading The Secret Daughter, which is ok but I really need a good book that I can’t put down, any suggestions?

I have also been reading the Ikea magazine, me and my hubbie had a child free day on Wednesday and spent the whole time in Ikea buying bits for our study, which is almost finished I might add. As much as I love being with my girls it was so nice to potter around without taking a bag of food with me or without making endless trips to the toilet.

Watched

We watched the film The Intern this week, which was really good and I really enjoyed it, a nice easy watch with a glass of wine – it was bliss.

Wore

I have been wearing some shirts with my jeans for a little change from my t shirts, although I do feel a bit nervous when I’m wearing my white shirt, not sure how long it will stay white for.

My girl’s looked lovely in their Easter clothes, me and Meme could not agree on anything so she won on the dress choice but I chose the coats, which I love.

Heard

I have heard a glowing report from Meme’s teacher, we had parent’s evening yesterday and it is nice to hear that she is doing well.

Made

We did some Easter crafts at Ness gardens at the weekend, which the girls enjoyed. I have also been busy making lots of plans for Meme’s time off next week – we have lots of catching up with friends to do and I can’t wait!

And Lastly

I am thinking of starting a yoga class, I definitely need to start toning up and I think yoga will be really good for me.  Hoping it will help me relax and switch off, it starts Sunday evening but is 90 minutes long – eek wish me luck.

Have a lovely weekend x

  1. Aww those jackets are so cute! Well done Meme on the parents evening! Hope you all have a lovely two weeks off together (mine go back Monday *sob*) x

P.S I think the Ikea catalogue might be my favourite ever book!

  2. The jackets are really sweet, the girls look great in them. As much as we love our kids it is nice to have a break from them every now and again. Me and hubby are off for a night away next weekend, just the two of us before the baby arrives. I can’t bloomin’ wait!
Hope the yoga goes well tonight! xx
